Outside of the clinic, she teaches the Naturopathic Doula Course to associate Naturopathic Doctors across North America and the UK, is founder of York Region Naturopathic Doulas, and is the Creator of the noteworthy online fertility program Baby Bloomers. Dr. Jessica integrates conventional medical research with Naturopathic principles and modalities giving you a unique integrative approach to your health to allow the body to restore balance and achieve optimal health. As a new venture, Dr. Jessica has now launched her blog “Beauty and the Babe”, a blog focused on beauty inside and out for moms (or moms to be) and babies and everything in between.

Having attended and assisted with almost 300 births, Dr. Jessica has experience working cooperatively with midwives, obstetricians, family physicians and nursing staff to assist women and their partners before, during and after the birth of their child. Dr. Jessica is a mother herself and recognizes birth as a vital, vulnerable, & beautiful experience in the life of a mother and family. Her goal is to ensure she has a complete understanding of mom-to-be's values and aspirations for her birth in order to offer her and her partner the information, emotional and physical support they require to have the most positive birth experience possible and an easy transition into parenthood.

Modalities that Dr. Jessica uses with her patients include Clinical Nutrition, Herbal Medicine, Acupuncture, and Homeopathy.

When visiting with Jessica, you can expect a thorough intake and focused physical examination while she investigates each layer of your health to gain a better understanding of the inner workings of the body and determine the root cause of disease. She develops treatment plans tailored to the specific needs of the individual, which promotes the natural healing of the body, inside and out.

Some fun facts: Dr. Jessica is a plant-based foodie (ask her anything about nutrition and she is a never-ending source of amazing alternatives and recipes), she used to be an actress on TV (yes, in a past lifetime), she is the mother of 2 adventurous boys who keep her up all night (and somehow she still functions), and her one thing she can’t do without is her morning Matcha tea latte with almond milk and honey (check her recipe in her blog).
